I understood there would be a difference with garden grade.. but chips & dents along with multiple empty knots is insane for the price. One side looks good, one side looks passable & the other 2 are unacceptable.

I wanted to build a raised garden bed for cucumbers and my husband came across these ready planter boxes. It fit out spot perfectly and was much easier than building something ourselves. It's beautiful and well, made. We are considering getting more of them :)
One of the inside boards came out when I was positioning the box on the patio. It is now too heavy to put the board back in.

We have 2 of these. They are exactly what we needed for the front entrance. Used the red cedar oil protector and they look great. Simple to assemble, 15-20 mins. The liner could be a little more fitted to the size of the planter but it’s not a problem with a little maneuvering.

I love the raised cedar box. We put it on the deck and had lovely herbs and beans in it. Unfortunately a rabbit jumped into it and started to dig destroying everything in it. I have ordered the greenhouse for it to solve the problem.
The product seems to be well made. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It is also attractive and matches a cedar privacy fence in my backyard.

These are beautiful. Well made and easy to assemble. I have had several comments from my neighbours about how they liked them. Definitely increased the curb appeal of my house. I didn’t put any stain on them yet but will do it soon My only other comment is that the liner would be easier to insert if it was made in a box form. It was difficult to tuck in the excess fabric at the corners

Love the red cedar (although is there a ton of white cedar in Ontario?) and a great design. All the bolt holes in the cedar lined up on the corner pieces, so assembly was painless. I know from other cedar projects that it is a soft wood, so I was careful not to overtighten the bolts and crush the wood, but it might be helpful if you determined the proper torque amount. To preserve the clear look and color, I finished the exterior with 6 coats of exterior polyurethane, but realized it would have been better if I had finished them BEFORE assembly.

I LOVE these planters. Excellent quality and easy assembly. The only improvement I could suggest is if the liner was fitted. I know these could be fabricated because I have other planter that boxes with fitted liners. Then these would be perfect.

The kit was very easy to assemble and enabled us to plant our Boxwood and flowers within a day. The only recommendation I would make is to have a better form fitting liner, so it fits better in the planter box to receive the plantings.
