Assembly was easy (for my husband!) He was impressed with the quality of the wood and all attachments to put it together.

Easy to assemble, no surprises. I popped an extra 1" hole in each bottom slats to ensure drainage. I lined the inside with heavy polyethylene and melted the holes over the bottom slat holes. Placed the supplied filter cloth liner over the polly, filed about 7" of washed 1" stone then a layer of filter cloth and filed with garden soil to 2" from the top. I will plant them next spring. They look great.

I purchased 12 boxes. I have only put one together. It went together easily and all pieces fit well. The planter is very sturdy. I finished it with the osmo uv protection oil and it looks really nice. I purchased all 12 boxes with the select grade wood. I have put the other 11 boxes in storage until spring when I will then assemble and finish them. I just hope the other 11 boxes came with the select grade wood I ordered and that they all go together as well as the single one I tried. We are putting all 12 boxes in our vegetable garden to make planting, weeding and harvesting easier as my wife and I are in advancing years and it should make gardening easier. As I said I just hope the 11 still boxed containers are just as good quality as the one I put together.

The planter was easy to assemble and looks great. Everything fit properly, all bolt holes matched up and the liner was cut and and sewn and fit the planter perfectly. Very satisfied.
My only negative was the time between ordering and actual shipment which was well over a month. I had anticipated putting in some late veggies but it arrived too late. Your ads were misleading in that they implied to me that the planters were ready to ship. In fact, some time after ordering, I received tempting offers of varying discounts to accept even later delivery.
It would be useful to me to have predirilled holes in the bottom of the legs for wheels and axles.

We just moved into our new home one month ago, and will be storing the boxes in their packaging until next spring (with the possibility of putting them together in the garage this winter!). We love the cedar planter. It was easy to assemble and once on the right spot John oiled the planter and when absorbed we added the liner and soil. Since it is late in the season we did find some perennials and still a tomato plant, geraniums to pop some colour and ivy. Will do for now and we will add different plants in the spring. It certainly made our patio look friendlier.

This is a quality product. They are sturdy and the wood is high grade. I did have a problem with one board that was substandard but they replaced it very quickly when I contacted them. The only other problem I have had with them is minor, but I have used my sander twice to shave the horizontal bottom slats as they were a little long and prevented the metal leg holes from lining up with the predrilled wooden holes on the side panels. Easy fix if you have a sander but harder to correct if you don’t. But I have bought four planters so far and may buy two more. It would be nice if you could specify the leg length. Other than that, they are not cheap, but quality does not come cheap. And I got my last two on a fall sale.

I ordered the leg covers slips to protect my stone patio but it has never arrived. It has been over a month of waiting. I am affraid they will never come and I will be out the money. I can not fill the planter with soil until they do so I am going to miss the growing season this year. Too heavy with soil to lift. I contacted Cedar Planters about this issue last week and have not heard anything back. Not impressed at all. I was thinking of buying another one but not anymore.

I’m so happy with my Cedar Planter! Delivery was seamless, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made assembly really straightforward. Once it was put together, I was immediately impressed by the quality and how beautiful the natural cedar looks.
I already have several planters and containers in my garden, and this one fits in so naturally while adding something special to the space. I planted mine with foxgloves, and I love how the flowers look against the warmth of the cedar.
My garden is my little oasis during the summer and one of my favourite places to unwind, so I’m very particular about what I add to it. This planter is such a beautiful addition, and I’m already thinking about what I want to grow in another one next spring!

Product itself is great, looks very nice. Problem came with assembly. Pre-drilled holes were not in the horizontal pieces so assembly was basically impossible if I didn't drill the holes myself for the bolts. This process of drilling the holes was pretty time consuming and a bit tedious but nonetheless once I got the holes drilled the rest of the installation was pretty easy.

Assembly was easy although I would have still preferred to have a hard copy of the assembly instructions. Using the bar code was a bit of a pain. I'll be interested in purchasing more cedar planters soon.

I live in the country where the trees make it impossible to grow anything in ground. I battled and tilled the land every spring with very poor results. Cedar Planters raised beds have been a God send! I have 8 beds set up and my plants are thriving! I have eaten tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers and herbs to my hearts content!. I purchased 4 more last month that I plan to set up next spring. My goal is to have a total of 16 beds! It is so great not to have to till the ground, battle with weeds or bend my back. These are perfect and the best investment I've made to my garden.

Have always wanted to buy one, so thrilled to own one now. I bought the 48 inch version, very easy to put together, impressed how everything came so well packaged and everything fit into place perfectly. Looks great!! Being a bit late in the growing season and my time being limited, I bought two large pots of plants/flowers to fill up the planter. This was my third planter and the only one I had difficulty putting together. I just couldn’t get those holes to line up! So it did take me a little longer to set up than the other two. However, that being said, once I got it assembled, positioned, filled with dirt and my plants planted, all was fine. No more sore back from bending over! Everything is at the right height and easy to access.

Bought two on “Sale” at $169 each, a week after they arrived they were on another “Sale” at $149. The issue is the pre sale price is $749amd they “offer” a 75% -80% discount which is a sham, yes they are worth $150-$170. It never $600-$700 plus.
That are a good solid made in Canada product that doesn’t need false MRSPs that are heavily discounted. The product should just be sold at a fair retail price. The wood quality is not perfect on e wry piece. It the cut, finish and holes for building and bolting together were right straight out of the box, a good quantity of additional nuts and bolts provided were a nice touch and appreciated.

23 days growth! These planters are amazing! Ist pic on the left is July 27th and the next 2 are July 21st for comparison. The last 2 pics added today August 2nd and beans have flower buds, cabbage is hidden from view as are green onions.

The video was very informative and helpful, the only thing I would suggest is to let the customer know that the legs are wrapped in the tough cardboard, it was very protective but I thought it was the frame for the box to help keep the planks from getting damaged
I reached out to the team and they were able to help promptly but had to wait another weekend.

Got a later start, nothing planted until first week in July. Looking forward to the results. So far am very happy with purchases. 36" 48" and 60" raised, 2 with greenhouse covers and all three with winter covers. I haven't installed the greenhouse covers yet, but upon opening the package the screws look very small and I'm concerned that in the strong winds and we get gusts to 60kph that the wind may knock the covers over and damage the cedar where the clamps are screwed to anchor the cover. Any feedback from others would be greatly appreciated.

I really love the planters. One star is missing as the bottom supports are carried. One box has wide slats the other had a ton of narrow. Consistency matters to me.
