We use cedar from sustainably and responsibly managed forests; for every tree harvested there are at least three replanted. We powder coat our planter legs; an environmentally friendly finishing choice, containing no solvents, using less energy, and releasing virtually no VOCs into the atmosphere; a reduced environmental impact. Our materials are non-toxic and safe for your plants. They are long-lasting and durable, meaning you won't need to replace them, like most manufactured products that easily break.

Our legs are made from a hot rolled carbon steel with a galvannealed coating which is specially designed with high rust and corrosion resistance. For even more protection, we use an exterior grade black powder coating. With this combination our legs are designed to last a lime time. Our steel is all domestically sourced and fall under the ASTM A 653/A 653M (American Society for Testing and Materials)
We use cedar for all of our planters. Cedar is nontoxic, has beautiful natural colours and grain, as well as a wonderful aroma. It thrives in damp climates, withstands many conditions, resists rot, and does not shrink, swell, warp, or decay in weather changes. Cedar allows our planters to last all four seasons in any climate. Cedar is a natural insect repellent, protecting your garden from unwanted critters. All of our cedar is sustainably sourced and FSC approved.

No, the beds have bases inside with drainage holes. We also provide a thick garden fabric to add an extra layer of protection between the soil and cedar. The thick garden liner will help to filter the water draining. Allowing the water to escape prevents root rot and promotes a healthy garden.
Absolutely not. Our products are built to design the harshest climates and can withstand the winters of even Nunavut. There are even some vegetables that can be grown during the winter months!
We provide the two tools required for assembly(Phillips screw driver and a 1/4" wrench). Assembly is super easy and very fast. It can be completed in about 15 minutes. There are only 28 screws for the raised garden beds and 32 for the planter boxes. Assembly can be completed with only one person.
